Default Blackberry 4G Unlimited - What is it?

I was looking through my account and saw the service option 'Blackberry 4G Unlimited - $30'. What's this? BBs aren't 4G and it's $10 more than my current 'Blackberry Unlimited' plan.

If I'm not mistaken, 4G is just how T-mobile is now labeling their network (and data plans), whether or not your phone can take advantage of the "4G" speeds.

My wife has the 200mb web and it's called "BlackBerry 4G Web" but her phone, an 8900, of course, is not 4G-capable.

It's the same thing, just a different name and higher price.

I have the $20 data plan too. No need to switch.

As mentioned, it's just a new name for the data plans. No difference in what the plans actually do

Curious question.
If TM is now offering a 4G BB service, does that mean the new BB soon to be available from TM will be 4G? A 4G Torch perhaps?

Everything is called "4G Web" regardless if the device is 4G or not. This is not a "sign" that a 4G berry is coming. Tmobile just wants to promote their network.

I have a G2, which is 4G, and I get 4G service fine when I travel and I have the $20 Preferred Android plan. It doesn't matter what the plan is called, ifyou have a 4G device and you're in the 4G are, you get 4G.

Hi, since this thread is about the blackberry data plan what is the difference between BlackBerry 4G Web - Unlimited with Enterprise E-mail and BlackBerry 4G Web - Unlimited because the one with the enterprise e-mail said they have real time web browser what is that?

The former is if you need BES service/access. Most consumers will not need this capability or this feature. Only if your company or organization runs or uses a BES server will you need this. IME, that is the only difference.
