Default Best Droid Experience for T-Mo?

Hey All,

I think I might finally leave BB... Sad, I know. The new 9900 is just, well, underwhelming.

So my question is pretty simple. What's the best Droid for T-Mo? What do I need to know ahead of time? I've heard of "rooting" your droid to make it faster. Is this difficult?

Thanks for the help!

The best Android out on T-Mobile is the HTC Sensation. The G2x is nice too, but people have been having a lot of issues with that phone.

There is none.
Droid is the brand that Verizon uses for it's Android devices.

Android is the name of the software, just like we have BlackBerry OS 6, and now BlackBerry OS 7, or iOS 5, or Windows Phone 7, and soon to be released Windows Phone 7.5, or webOS (Palm/HP) that runs on Pre 3 and Veer.

Droid is just a brand name that Verizon uses for some of their Android phones.

For example, Samsung Nexus S, HTC Sensation, Motorola Droid, Motorola Atrix, HTC Evo 3D, Samsung Infuse, Droid Incredible, Motorola Photon, are all phones that are manufactured by different companies, but they all run same software called Android.

Verizon decides to call some of these better phones Droids. And because Verizon is so big and has a lot of customers, people often hear "I have a Droid," and they assume that there is only one phone called Droid.

T-Mobile's variant of the new Samsung Galaxy S2 series will be out the end of Sept. It's called the Hercules and supposed to be da bomb.

Since I've sworn off from buying new BB's on day 1, I'm actually considering waiting a few weeks until the Hercules arrives and decide what I'll do then. I dunno, I gotta itch to try something different even tho I know I will love the 9900.
