Default BB8900 with a different data plan

I have a questions about data plans, not going without one, but what if you wanted a different data plan? Say I just wanted to get the general unlimited web and messaging for 19.99 instead of the unlimited BIS for 34.99?

I still want to have the web wherever I go but I can't afford another $15 for the unlimited data and messaging and it would be more expensive if I got the 24.99 unlimited web + 400 emails since I would still have to get the texting.

The web would still work correct? but not with the native browser? I'm pretty sure i wouldn't get push email as well, but just as long as I got the web and sms, mms for a bit of a better price it would be ok. So would it work?

On my Bold I think I went with the $24.99 unlimited web +400
The same as I had with my iPhone. It works fine.

well the thing with that is that you still have to pay for texting, which would be the same price as the unlimited 34.99 but with only 1000 messages.

I think that's the new pricing. When I called up a few weeks back customer service told me I had the cheapest plan. I use the 400 txt messages and internet.

Are you looking for a plain $19.99 plan?

The 19.99 data plan has unlimited data but no texts. It's an old plan and no longer offered but you can call up Retentions and see if you can talk someone into giving you it.

The 24.99 plan with 400 texts is no longer offered. The data-only plan is 24.99 now.

I currently have the 34.99 plan.

Oops sorry

Yes, you could get that plan for your BB...however, you should change your phone selection in T-Mobile to a dumbphone that would support this plan. T-Mobile will not add this plan to a BB device.

Keep in mind, you'll get the unlimited messaging, web use, and some app use, but you won't be able to get push email or use BB messenger since it's not an official BB plan. It's possible that some apps will not work.

If you're okay with that, then go for it!

This is True, One thing you will notice is when you do use the internet NOT all the sites will work normal like it would if you were to have to actual BB Data.
