bb 8320 problems with macbook

hi guys am new to this. I have a macbook with bb manger. and a 8320 curve i called tmo to unlock and they did so i connect for an update then it told me i have to little free memory so i deleted somethings and now i try updating and i get the hourglass and turns off and does this cycle and i get a red led. i only have a macbook and no windows computer i hope u guys u can help me fix this. i connect the bb to manger it wants to download software 4.5.0.81. i do this and i get the same thing all other again. and btw my friend gave this bb n it worked before. i hopt you guys can help me thanks!
