ok so i read this post on tmonews:

i'm just confused. can i still partake in this offer if i'm trying to upgrade my smart phone after being on the contract for one year?

confused and want to find out before i call tmo and make a fool of myself

No, it must be a true full upgrade, which means 22 of 24 months have passed in a contract.

I can vouch for BOGO, I had to upgrade for 2 years in order to get it.

Glad I'm hearing about this BOGO offer. According to a link found in another thread related to TMO BOGO offer,
I would be better off to go thru an authorized retailer than an actual TMO storefront, as I could get the BOGO on my UPGRADE. This may be a great opp to get both myself and the wife the 9700...

OR.. I can go thru the TMO storefront and just upgrade and get a discounted price of $129 for the 9700..

Not sure what I want/need to do. Wife has a 8320 Curve now and doesn't really need/want the new phone... I'm using her old 8100 and I *want* a new phone...

Had to remove thread link due to having under 10 posts...

I went to Tmo store and they had the BOGO event.

I always go to the tmo store for upgrades.
