Default Anyone on the TMO $50 Prepay?

My current contract is up and I was looking at the T-Mobile $50 unlimited prepay plan.

I was wondering if anyone here has that plan and if you can tell me...

Are you happy with it?

What are the pros and cons (other than the price can change at anytime)?

I went for the value plan instead, which is also $50. There's a contract though, so the price won't change.

They have much worse C/S so it's something to keep in mind. And the $50 is $60 with BIS.

yes. @watbetch is correct about the price. i have that plan. it works for me. i did notice on the voicemail messages it doesn't play the caller's # prior to playing the message. i may upgrade to the $60 plan (which will be $70) after i activate my bb9900.

I am on the $50 +$10 BB plan with and it works very well for me. Service has been great and love not having to focus on minute, data, and text usage as it is unlimited in the US. T-mo even handled my number port and the process was flawless and quick. I like knowing exactly how much my bill is every month.

Overall I am finding their prepaid plan a really good value. Love it!

I think that's a setting you may be able to change through voicemail options. But I'm speaking as a post-paid customer, and you may have already tried.

The $60 Plan looks like the right choice.

Getting a Bold 9900 today. Paid full price for it so I could stay on the prepay account. Glad you can get BB for $10 more. Does that give you the opportunity to get apps from BB instead of T-MORBID?

I'm sure you can link up a paypal acct with your blackberry ID and get apps through app world rather than through tmobile.

I am on this plan as well and it serves me fine. The $49.99 gives only 100MB of 3G/4G speed and once that has been used it drops to 2G but if you use WIFI a lot then it's no big deal. FYI, $59.99 gets 2GB of 3G/4G and the max $69.99 gives 5GB. You would still need to pay the $10.00 for BIS as well.
