Default anyone ever been able to get Tmobile 3G service on Storm

I know Tmobile' 3G service won't work on the iPhone, But will it work on the Storm?

it will not work. you can only get EDGE on the storm

To elaborate on what big.daddy said, the reason it won't work is because T-Mobile uses a frequency for their 3g network that is incompatible with the large majority of phones available.

The storm doesn't have the 1700 mhz UMTS frequency capability.

It would be nice if RIM used a chip set that would include 1700mhz !!

this has more to do with verizon than RIM. Since the Storm wasnt made to run on the us carriers 3g service it basically is what it is.

Which is why, conversely, you cannot use a T-Mo G1 on any other 3G network!
