Default Any way to increase MMS size limit?

The 300kb limit is frustrating me. I'm interested in a workaround for the 8900 specifically, but if anyone knows of any for other handsets please post those too.

Its not the phone. Its the network that is like that.
I wish there was a way but I'm not sure of any other way.

I'm under the impression that it is the phone, just something that they usually don't allow you to modify. Previously with the HTC Herald (and probably all other WinMo 6.x phones) I could use a registry mod to send up to 1200kb MMS on TMo. The stock configuration was a 300kb limit with options for 100 and 200.

On the Herald, it was a give/take scenario because all MMS went over the cell network even if you were connected to WiFi so sending a 1200kb message over EDGE was slooooowww.

But I'm not expecting to be able to do this on the Javelin, I was just hoping there was a workaround/hack.

EDIT: Also never had any complaints about people receiving messages over 300k on TMo, Sprint, Verizon or ATT
