Default Any Switchers from AT&T?

I am thinking about switching to T-Mobile to save some $$ on a family plan and I was wondering if anyone here already done that and cared to share their experience?

I currently have a Bold so I guess I would just Unlock it before switching over.

Thanks for your comments.

Yep - I did it 12 years ago and will never go back. Too much bad taste in my mouth to do so.

Ever since I've been with Tmo I've only had one minor issue and that was resolved within one day. I have 3 lines: 2 with G1 plans and At-Home calling and I love it. The only drawback about Tmo is thier lack of phone choices (compared to AT&T). But thier customer service is 10 times better (IMO).

I switched from AT&T to T-Mobile in April after more years than I can clearly remember (long before it was called "AT&T" - I've had the same phone number since about 1997, and have been through several name changes of the service).

Personally, I have been ecstatically happy with T-Mobile so far - it may just be my locale and/or my new BlackBerry, but my signal is stronger and phone calls are clearer. Plus, customer service is vastly better.....

Red face Switched from Sprint...

Not AT&T, but I switched from Sprint to T-Mobile over Thanksgiving last year. I hardly ever use my cell for calls, but my wife spends hours on her phone. I could never get her to keep an eye on our 700 precious Anytime minutes. The month I switched, our most recent Sprint bill had $300 in overages.

We have a pair of 8220's now, with Unlimited HotSpot/UMA Calling and the $25 web + 400 SMS plan on both phones. My wife is ecstatic because she can burn through as many UMA minutes as she wants (1,500 last month). I'm ecstatic because I can tether for free and surf during my two hours of train commuting every day, and because our 700 minute plan with unlimited data, UMA and 400 SMS each is only about 30 bucks more than our old Sprint voice+sms service.

I'll never give up unlimited UMA calling and free tethering.
