Default Any 1 year contracts still available?

Last January I signed up for a new Tmo contract w/BB 8900 in a corporate store. It was a 1 year contract, and all I had to do was pay $100 extra for the phone compared to the 2 year contract. Do 1 year extensions exist now?

Call customer care and ask. I know some corporate plans allow them.

One year extensions are no longer available, even on grandfathered plans. It is either a 2 year extension or leave the existing contract as is and pay the retail price.

The only time I've seen the system shoot out a 1 year contract was adding a line to a grandfathered rate plan. The newly activated line was able to be a 1 year. If you're doing an upgrade, you can't only do a 1 year extension. It has to be 2 years.
