Default All it took was 3 minutes...

Sorry if this comes off as a rant. I am usually a huge cheerleader for T-Mo but this needs to be shared.

I went into my local T-Mo corporate store with the intent on trying the Samsung Vibrant and the My Touch 4G and to also check out a stereo blutooth set that I saw online. After 3 minutes I left aghast at the negativity and lamaize that the employee who happened to be the manager gave off.

First he slammed the Vibrant stating that "2.2 never came for it. We're sooooo dissapointed in it." Then he proceeded to not even listen to me as he rambled on about the "awesome" My Touch 4G and how if I get a phone that's not 4G I'm "waisting my time and money". When I asked if we had 4G coverage in my area he said he didn't know.

I then went over to the accesories area and asked if they had the stereo bluetooth set I saw online. He stated "those are all garbage". He started to talk about another set but I was already walking out the door.

Ive now had 2 incredibly dissappointing visits to this location. I'm a little concerned. The reps used to be quite knowledgeable and very helpful and the last 2 times I've gone in they've been pushy and obnoxious. Definitely the " I know more than you" attitude even when they clearly don't.

Very dissapointed...

Do you have any other corporate stores close to you? The store closest to my house is full of that kind of people but i drive another 8 miles in another direction and that store has the "we actually listen and if we can make it better we will" type people. Telling me what phone I want, I don't think so I'll drive farther.

It really, really depends on the store.

We have a T-Mobile store in the mall here and you wouldn't find me in there, ever. They are completely rude and unhelpful.

However, there is a store (corporate) elsewhere locally and I really like the reps there. They are friendly and very helpful and answer all my questions. I would always go there for when I have issues with my phone/services.

I suggest you try another store.

my experience is usually very good, there is one location on city line ave. that always seems to be negative. i have been going there since it opened and it is still that way, even with a complete change over in employees/managers. fortunately the one closest to my home is great, the guys there are awesome.

I must say that there's a guy at my location who is really great. He understands me and helped me out with my BB exchanges. But there are other employees in the store that are not so great. Whenever I have to go in I always ask for him. Once I even called ahead to see if he was working that day.

I haven't had to visit a store in almost a year so I suppose that's a good thing.

I dont have tmo service i dont see it from your side but i work for tmobile cutomer care and tech support on the phones and we constantly get calls from store reps and calls from cusotmers who mentions stores...and for the most part it seems like the people in the stores have no clue...now i know its not all store and the filed i work in only show sme the bad side becuase really who calls customer care to tell thme they had a good exprience or their account is perfect...doesnt happen but i have to fix so manny problems created by stores its unbeleiveable some times the things i herd things that store reps told someone to sell them a phone
for example once i spoke with a customer that bought a my touch and hated it all because a rep in a store convinced her that a blackberry had no email acess and you couldnt get online with it either and that the my touch can do all of those things but the blackberry can only make phone calls and send text messages....i nearly fell out of my chair when i herd that
