Default Adding a line?

Hi. I am on Even More for Families 3000 Talk
I have 3 lines, all blackberry, and Unlimited Domestic Messages for Families.

I want to get my son a phone. I am having trouble deciphering my options. Can I get him a "free kid" phone? Does that require an extension? Can I just pay 9.95 with no extension?

Unsupported Browser

Want more than two lines? Get lines 3-5 FREE* until 2012
Family plans include two lines to start. You can add up to three more lines for FREE.

Looks like you can. But remember, he will be using the phone for 2 years. think about the major upgrades within that time. Just a thought.

Yes on both counts.

You can choose to switch to the promo which makes add-on lines free until 2012. This would reset the contract for two years on your existing lines.

You can also forgo the promo rate and add a line to your existing plan for $10. This leaves your contract the same for the two lines you have, but the new line will have a two year contract

Now my wife says he doesn't need a BB. She says all the "cool" kids have Droids.
