Default Adding internet booster to my combi 30

Am on the combi 30 plan from t-mobile on my blackberry curve and i get the unlimited email and texts and i get 700 minutes from having the combi 30 plan, but i want to have internet on my BB Curve, so i have looked into the internet booster and its about £7 more on top of my normal £25 billing at the end of every month, but is this worth having? What does this internet booster actually give me?
Mark

Are you currently able to use the browser and online apps on your Curve? Probably not.

It seems that the email booster just gives the push email feature and whatnot. The internet booster would give you internet access on your Curve and you could use apps.

I would try it out for a month and see how you like and if you use it enough to justify the cost.

I just looked again on the site...let's see here..
you're currently on the 25 pound plan - 700 min, unlim text plus email booster which is 5 pounds a month - so that would be 30 pounds a month.

I see a plan on there that could save you money.

You could switch to the 30 pound plan which includes 700 min, unlim text, and internet booster is included...add the mandatory email booster and it comes to 35/month.

If you were to add the internet booster to your plan now, it would come up as...
25 (for the Combi plan) + 5 (email booster) + 7 (internet) = 37

Yes, by all means try it out first and if you use it enough, you can change plans to save money!

I take it that this internet booster tho will be unlimited amount of internet usage? With me using the Wi-Fi in my house to use the internet on my Blackberry at the moment, With me getting the booster will it still feed of my Wi-Fi when at home instead of using the booster?

No, data via Wi-Fi is free. It won't cut into your data usage.

You may want to check with T-Mobile but I believe the "fair use" policy of internet usage is 1 GB in the UK. You will NOT be charged if you go over 1 GB...but your service may slow down a bit.

Like I said, data over the Wi-Fi is free and you'll still be able to use that.

Right the internet booster is now in action, so i just downloaded the app for Blackberry App World, and it comes up saying ...
Upgrade your service to a plan that includes browsing and discover the world of possibilities at Blackberry App World. Contact your service provider for more details ?!?

So i tried the Facebook App. Downloaded it and it come up saying sign in and password, so i enter them and that comes up saying ... Could not connect because a data service is not available. Please try again later. If this continues, contact you service provider for support... I have tried it about 5 6 times through out the day today and its not letting me use facebook or App World at all

Any help or info ??

Did you JUST add the booster? It may take a short while like an hour or so in order for internet and apps to work.

Are you in the US or UK? Email Booster is for UK T-Mobile customers. The BlackBerry data plan provides unlimited Internet and email for US customers.

It is my understanding that the email booster provides you with the push email but just email. If you want data/internet, then you need to get that as well.

This is probably beneficial to some customers as there are people who want just email on the BB and nothing else.

So that's 5 pounds for the email and however much else for data.
