Are added services prorated?

I added unlimited texting to my plan about a week b4 the end of the billing cycle. I should've asked the rep when I did this, but forgot to. But does anyone know if the $15 for unlimited texting be prorated for a week? i.e. $15/30days * 7 days of use.

Any time you add something after the start of your new cycle its more then likely going to be prorated.

got my bill today, and just as i suspected, they charged for the full month. Claiming that they will backdate it if it would be cheaper for me that way. Well it isn't cheaper under my calculations and I corrected them, so they credit me back $12.
