9900 and T-Mobile grandfathered data plan

Upgraded last Dec. $20 unlimited data with 2G high-speed (4G). After that, speed will reduced to EDGE.

I was told by the tmo rep (called customer service back in Oct) that with my grandfatheed unlimited data plan, my data will be throttled to EDGE speed if my data exceeds 2GB anyway.

I have a grandfathered plan although it is at $25 and was told that it gets throttled at 5GB as oppose to the 2GB on the newer equivalent plans. However the rep in the store said I could upgrade to the 9900 without having to change my plan but if I wanted to switch to Android, my plan would go up $5-10.
