As of January 3rd, the 9810 has reached EOL (End Of Life). It didn't even last two months. I was thinking of getting that phone last Sunday, 01/08/2012, when I visited a TMO retail store but I felt the phone was too thick and I didn't want to have buyer's remorse if a better phone came out months later. You know how technology is but with RIM you never know.

Has anyone seen official confirmation of this? I know there was a story on N4BB and an EOL thread here on CB but I have yet to see anything making this official

There was a 9810 in our local store in Oakland. I wanted to wait until OS 7.1 came out. Looks like that's a couple months away. Maybe I'll get it and gamble that it comes out in 30 days. (Ca. has a 30 day remorse period.)
Answer to post above --- There will NOT be any new BlackBerry models this year. They announced a couple weeks ago that the BBX (BB10) will not be out this spring as originally thought - but is at least ONE YEAR away.

Rats! I really like that form factor. And was giving serious consideration to one, in spite of the cost of a mid-contract replacement. Guess I will have to wait until Feb of next year for full upgrade on a London!

Speculation is that since the deal fell completely dead in the water for the ATT deal, Tmobile lost the rights to sell the "exclusive" device.

That doesn't make sense to me. Why would a carrier get exclusivity rights based on an unapproved (not to mention unpopular) merger that may or may not go through?

just found a 9810 at a local store, working on 'upgrading' a line to get the device - negotiations right now are between my wife and I, before negotiating with the T-Mo store.
