| | 9630 Tour for T_Mobile
Seriously people.....None of the "blackberry experts" None of the crackberry fanatics know why T-Mobile cannot support the 9630 Tour from Blackberry? Come on people this is a joke. I have spent hours and hours of phone time with T-Mobile and blackberry and noone from T-Mobile (except the last individual I spoke with could tell me you cant ...CANNOT use the blackberry Tour with T-Mobile. My question is WHY NOT? It is a blackberry highly popular phone why wouldnt a major carrier (so called) be able to support a phone from a major company? Who knows? Its Silly....But they will give you the run around like they can and they will tell u try this and try that and then lead u into dead ends..WHY The only thing I think is because they dont really want you to buy a phone from another carrier...Come on people "they cant support the tour" This is a major cell phone company and they dont know how to put the browser on the phone. This is a joke... With all the technology in this world today and crackberry? Noone not one computer geek or cell phone guru can figure this out? This is all a scam by the phone companies to get you to purchase there products and there products ONLY. What has me disappointed is that noone from the so called blackberry community(crackberry) has figured out a way around this. T-Mobile is a joke of a company and I cant really speak for the rest but saying you are not able to support a phone from a majot company such as Blackberry is just a JOKE. Think about this people

This is one of the least coherent posts I've seen in some time. No explanation. No details. Just complaining.
If you can describe your issue in terms that are not so vague and arbitrary, perhaps one of us can help

Ok here we go...I purchased a 9630 Blackberry from a friend which was a Verizon phone...I have T-Mobile I had the phone unlocked and was told by T-Mobile that I just need to get it switched over..I was on the phone numerous times with T-Mobile with basically the same result no browser no pic messages no bb messenger...WHATS A BLACKBERRY without those.....It just another cell phone.

You should have done some studying on the 3G bands your Tour could operate on versus what bands TMobile uses. Pretty much you should be mad at yourself for purchasing something without knowing if it would work on your network or not.
Don't depend on ore people find out for yourself before being mad at anyone
Not being an a$$ just giving it to you straight.

Im not worried about what I spent on the phone I just dont understand How a MAJOR company like T-Mobile isnt capable of handle a phone ...They have 3G but only for the BOLD that is crap.. The phone says it runs on 2G and 3G and T-Mobile said they phone would work so I did research the situation

Big Ed | Okay, I read your rant and thought about it.
I have owned 4 Blackberrys, and always could use the browser, picture messages, text and BB messenger on T-Mo.
Usually I ignore rants like yours, but I always think the source of the problem is the USER, not the Blackberry, and in this case, not Crackberry either.

I guess that option never occurred to you.

Oh, I forgot to assist you. Get a Verizon plan for your 9630.

If you're stuck with T-Mo, you should only buy phones that are supported by your carrier.

The Tour is a World phone. That means that it is hardwired for CDMA networks (exp. Verizon) and can only access 3G on a CDMA network, but can use 2G on any GMS network (exp. T-Mobile). Lesson here is, know what kind of phone you are buying before you buy it.

Thanks K Bear How do you like the Bold 9700? Would you recommend that phone from T-Mobile?
