Default $50 off upgrades

Effective today, TMO corporate stores have lowered the upgrade pricing on the 9300, 9700, and 9780 by $50. I don't know when it will end yet.

- Full discount upgrades only. This means you've completed 22 out of 24 months on your contract

- Even More Plus is not eligible, unless you switch back to Even More. If you switch back, you get upgrade pricing based upon how far you were into your contract before going to EM+

- If you've upgraded to a BB at a corporate store in the last 14 days, you should be able to go back and get the difference refunded. If you're outside of 14 days, you're probably out of luck. If you want to complain, that's fine. Please don't do it here though. This thread is for information and questions about the promo

$79.99 for a Bold 9780 is a STEAL!!!

Today is day 15 for me but I exchanged my black 9780 for a white one on Monday.

Guess I'll swing by a Tmo store to see if I can snag this deal yet...and I thought $129 was a steal.

I went back to the T-mobile store today and tried to get the difference refunded as I upgraded a line last week. The person helping me looked at her computer and said they didn't get any memo regarding a $50 reduction. And so she was not able to refund me the difference.
Funny thing is, when I log into the T-mobile website, and look at the upgrade price for a different line, it is at $79.99.

Do you think I should try a different T-mobile store?
Or do you think that customer service/loyalty will be able to issue a credit?

Try a different store, for sure.

Just got a price adjustment at 2nd store I went to. Notably, the reps at the first store were girls too (sorry ladies) & didn't even do me the courtesy of checking the system. They're like 'don't u mean the $50 rebate' UM, No! 'We have a buy 1 get 1, is that what ur asking' UM, No! Told them I have a reliable source. Thx Norris!

Anyway, 2nd store hooked me up even tho I was at 15 days.

Give it another shot...

I guess I should hold off with my victory dance until I receive my $50 rebate card.

Rep suggested including my 3 receipts (orig purchase, exchange, & price adj.) with rebate form.

So that's got me a lil uneasy but we'll see weeks down the road.

I believe it was last January, they let "everyone" upgrade to the 9700 for the discounted price even if your 22 months upgrade was not up. Are they currently doing the samething for the 9780?
