5.99 Tzones no longer working?

To the few people out there who have a non BIS plan and BFE provisioned, has there been any changes to your data service? Since yesterday ive been only getting "edge".

Whenever I'm on wifi, edge turns to EDGE and everything including BBM, GTalk, AIM, BB Maps, browser, etc work, but on wireless data all I can use is the WAP Browser and Opera. MMS still works so it looks like TMo closed the loophole that allowed everything to work for me.

Anyone else have this happen to them?

I do not mean to hijack your thread, but how did you get the IM apps and BB maps to work even when on WiFi? I also have only the t-zones $2.99 data plan and every time I try to start Gtalk, it says I need to activate the service. (I can't even find the icon for the BB maps). Stuff that I can use:
gmaps, gmail, opera,gvoice.

Do you have BFE provisioned on your line? That was the thing for me, the trick is to get it when you have a non BB data plan

Yep, and now that im used to full data im stuck trying to make a decision. Either pony up another $19 a month or switch to a TP2 (ugh) or an iphone (a different, but equal, ugh)

You should call retentions and get the 19.99 BB plan. It's more expensive then tzones but not as bad as the newer price.

I have a 5.99 tzones plan. When I first bought the phone off a friend a few months back I was able to call them and get my "edge" to show "EDGE", that worked for about three months and now I'm showing a constant "edge", but the thing is everything still works great for me. Bolt Browser, UberTwitter, Gmail, Pandora, Nobex Radio, Facebook, and Youtube mobile streaming. Everything works great for me. I can't imagine paying 24.99 for data. I first used it on my 8100 and now my 8320. I'm also using the APN epc.tmobile.com if that helps.

Ya great....let's steal from tmobile.....PAY FOR DATA LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!!!....if you canget it for 19.99 fine but the next post or thread I see about. How to hack tzones to support full bandwith data I'm gonna ratchet down the poster...
