Anyone know or have heard rumors when will finally get a blackberry that is 3G capable?

Yes.

There is a model with the code name "Onyx" i think or "Driftwood" coming out in the fall... it's pretty much a 3G 8900 but it's a mix of the Bold and 8900

i'm DYING for a 3G blackberry!

Me too! I didn't want to buy the 8900 which I like a lot. My wife has that one. I wanted to hold out on buying a new blackberry until the 3G one came out. I currently have the 8320.

i honestly do not see a difference in 3g. i think its all the same, just a marketing scheme
