Thumbs up $39 Web/E-mail & Unlimited MSG Plan SOON!

I phoned T-Mobile yesterday about lowering my costs. Basically just to see if there's anything a rep could fix me up with that I can't configure online in my account. I'm already on the cheapest voice plan ($30) and 400 messages won't cut it, so $35 for data/msg package.

I thought of removing my minutes since I only use 8-12, but then the usual data/msg offers go away and I'll be paying $40 for data AND I'd have to do messaging separately.

JUNE 3rd!!!

Mostly for those interested in removing their voice plans, T-Mobile is offering $39.99 BlackBerry web/e-mail/unlimited msg packages. There may be a bit cheaper option that may include less or no messages, but this was my best offer discussed -- and I couldn't ask for more!

Oh wait, I get it...

The 39.99 is a data-only plan. It's for people who don't want voice on their plan.

Now it's going to include messages??
Wow, that's nice.

dappervirgo is correct. There is an unlimited Blackberry Web/email/Messages plan for $34.99. I have that currently.

I have a phone plan as well.

Yeah, but you have voice. This is for people who don't want/need voice.

This new Blackberry Data Plan with Unlimited Email and Text Messaging is just like the old Sidekick Plan without Voice.

So you're saying they add $5 if you dont have a voice plan? Interesting.

I don't see this plan yet online, though I know sometimes they take a while to update their web page with new plans.

LOL if this is true then I'll switch to boost(just for the voice plan). Don't get me wrong, I love tmobile but boost is way cheaper. Still I want to keep my berry and also mytouch3G coming out in 2-3 months wohooo!!!

Not to burst your bubble, but you know that Boost is CDMA, right? In order to make a blackberry work on it, you'll need to get a Nextel Berry and tweak it a little. Even then, Boost is VERY iffy with berries since there is no official support...the service goes on and off and has horrible coverage.

I'm surprised to see that this plan hasn't come out yet but I'm sure it will soon!
