Default $10 Blackberry Prepaid Plan Available Now.

For anyone that wants to have a prepaid blackberry plan Tmobile has a $10 Prepaid BB plan available now.

I'm thinking of switching to it since I can save $27 a month and still keep my BB stuff.

is that just for the data? do you have to pay anything else? like if I just want to use my BB to browse the web would I only have to pay $10.00?

i don't know how true this is....a few months ago i called customer service and was told that i needed to have at least the $50 prepaid plan then add the $10 blackberry plan....thus paying at least $60 per month.....unless things have changed since then i would suggest you find out all the specifics before posting......

Did anyone find out. I was thinking of buying a $100 prepaid minutes plus the $10 bb per month. I hardly use the phone, just mainly email and it would be like $22 per month.

I am on this plan. I don't have BES on my email and I don't think it would work with enterprise server either. But this works exactly like postpaid.
I'm on the 100 MB data plan. After 100 MB, speed test results show 100 - 160 Kbps. You won't really realize this decrease unless you are a heavy data user.

In order to activate BIS for $10 (includes access to BlackBerry email, BlackBerry Messenger, and BlackBerry App World for your BlackBerry device but no web I believe) on prepaid you need to have the $50 or $70 before they can add BIS for $10. From my understanding, on the $50 prepaid plan you'll still be limited to 100 MB then you're throttled. So that would cost $60 in total with limited wed. On the $70 prepaid plan is unlimited web plus the $10 for BIS bringing you to $80. I'm confused. Where's the benefit? Anyone see it? Might as well jump to Boost Mobile for $60 or Virgin Mobile for $55 (if that new plan is true).

The cheaper plan gives you 100 MB of data at 4G speeds
The $70 plan gives you 2 GB data at 4G speeds

Once you cross your alotted data usage, you can continue to browse the web and check email, but at reduced speeds (2G speeds)

By the way, web does work on this $10 BIS addon. You won't even realize you are on a prepaid plan

Where did you read that the $70 prepaid plan gives you 2GB of data? According to their website it is "unlimited" everything" plus the add-on of $10. I don't see any asterisks and I even read the fine print. I even saw the comparison chart and it says "unlimited 3G & 4G". Isn't this the reason why TMO has a class action lawsuit on their hands? From what I heard.

Guess not. Last I checked it was 2GB for $70 but I guess they temporarily modified that plan.
Point is, with the BIS addon, everything works as expected

You: how much is your blackberry plan, just the plan,i already have the phonr
Erica: In that case you'll have to pay $10 per month for the plan.
You: hey
You: oh okay.
You: so that would be $10 plus the fee for call and text?
You: to clarify, the $10 will give me BIS correct?
Erica: Yes, that is right and you'll not be charged for the text and call with this.
You: what do u mean i will not be charged?
Erica: The text and calls are free with the blackberry services.
You: seriously? so it would be $10 a month which includes BIS, unlimited call and text?
Erica: Yes you are correct.
You: damn! love it.is this on your website? can u give me a link?
