Will the other AT&T plans be re-priced?
Like the 900 min for $59 & the 1350 min for $79?
Any others getting re-priced? - 01-19-2010, 10:11 AM #2
i doubt it, maybe eventually, i guess only time will tell, but i really doubt it.

I highly doubt it, at&t only keeps itself competitive with Verizon, as T-Mobile and Sprint seem to be fighting to stay OUT of last place. They did away with the $79.99 1350 minute plan because $69.99 is unlimited now. But I doubt the others will change...until Verizon decides to change em, or at&t gets the jump on em.

Its just for R&D, texting is money they put in the bank to expand upon, data actually kills them.
That is why BBs do so well, companies can pay for phones and give them a data plan, thus allowing them to BBM for "free" other companies need to get up on that and make their own BBM.
But, they prolly wont reprice other plans...even though they should. I wonder how this will work with family plans - 03-24-2010, 10:23 PM #7
I was told yesterday that the iphone data plan may be going to $40 a month. Anyone else hear this, or is it just another rumor? I'm looking at maybe getting a 3Gs to replace my Bold 9000 but can't by contract until Sept 15.

I've seen nothing that indicates a raise in iPhone data plans.

We are seeing a trend in that voice prices (minutes) are going down, while data prices are going up. Talk is cheap now, I guess.
I wouldn't be surprised to see more of this in the future."If I read a book and it makes my whole body so cold no fire can ever warm me, I know that is poetry." -Emily Dickinson - 03-27-2010, 09:23 AM #10
