Don't do any switching, Verizon doesn't have a exclusive deal on the z30. They are only the 1st to offer it. Read this. http://m.cnet.com/news/verizon-will-sell-blackberry-z30-exclusively-in-nov-for-$200/57609653Just a trucker delivering the goods in which sometimes they are cell phones.

That is true ""exclusive" launch partner" and "He said there was nothing in the deal with Verizon that would prevent BlackBerry from offering an AT&T or T-Mobile version of the phone." which just indicates VZW here in US will launch it first. Now the question becomes if/when will others launch after this "exclusive" period is done. My money is ready for the purchase when/if ATT announces.

I spoke with AT&T last night. He couldn't give me an official date but he did mention to keep checking back. He also mentioned that he is not allowed to confirm it online which the same as saying yeah it's coming...

Does anyone know if the Z30 from Bell Mobility in Canada would work on AT&T (2G/3G/4G/LTE) if it's unlocked? I don't know what variant of the Z30 Bell has, but the frequencies seem to be the same as those that AT&T utilizes.

it's not quite that easy. verizon and Sprint use CDMA while the rest use GSM so it's a different type of transmitter. plus, there's the frequency issues as well. they have to make one specifically for each company, which sucks. that's also why you see discrepencies with their hardware and boobs getting on here complaining about "old" hardware.

You know AT&T Don't care about BlackBerry because the AT&T app isn't even a app like on Android and iPhone. I'm kinda fed up with AT&T. Nobody has even heard when 10.2 will drop for us and judging by Michael Clewley's channel 10.2.1 is almost done with production and is soon to be shipped out! BlackBerry really needs to say Duck them carriers we have to get everybody on the same page! We need every carrier to sell our phones but we will still update them ourselves. just make sure the carrier locations have working fresh updated phones to demo!

So, I called the AT&T flagship store near me earlier this week to bug them again about if and when AT&T is getting the Z30. Of course they didn't know, but it was perfect timing, because the rep from BlackBerry was in the store. Lucky me I got to talk to him. He told me he did not know when AT&T was going to launch the Z30 on their network, but he was able to confirm to me that AT&T is getting the Z30. My guess would be either February or March. I can only pray that AT&T also releases 10.2.1 in that time frame too, but I'm not counting on that happening.
