Switching from a media plan to a BB plan??
Right now, I'm using my unlocked BB with a regular media plan. It's unlimited, but I'm considering switching to a BB plan... but it looks like all of them now have the usage caps. I can't use my current media usage to determine if I will go over that cap, because I don't have the full BB features.. any thoughts/suggestions? Not sure if I should just keep the unlimited or sacrifice it for full use of my BB

As a user who only ever had a BB plan that is my first choice. We have two of those plans. We do not stream music or video so 200 megs is great for us. You can monitor your data for a bit and change if need be.

I don't think you can keep unlimited data. You can only keep unlimited data if you were previously on a smartphone unlimited. You were on a media unlimited for feature phones. I don't believe that you qualify to keep your unlimited.

You will not be able to keep unlimited. BB's compress data almost to a fault, so even the 2GB plan is damn near impossible to hit.

So you think I would be safe by switching from unlimited to the 2GB plan?

You'll be fine.
