Price Drop on phone plans
I've read several article about the price change that ATT has announced, but haven't seen it on the ATT Wireless Website yet. Is this price drop for new customers only, or can current customers change their plan to take advantage of the change?

I'm a current ATT customer. My contract expired on 12/29/09. I have not renewed or purchased a new phone...nor do I desire to at this time. My current plan is $100 Unlimited calling + $5 for 200 text msgs + $45 BES.
So, I want to save money without making any additional commitments for 12 or 24 months.
IF I update my calling plan to the NEW $70 unlimited calling plan...will I still continue without a contract or obligation to an ETF if I switch carriers in the next few months? - 01-23-2010, 11:48 AM #4
The ONLY time you renew or extend ur contract is when u upgrade your line. Changing your plan won't extend your contract. So go ahead and start saving $30 a month
