How Hard is it to Swap??
When I spoke with the Warranty people about my 9700 being replaced the other day, I was told that we're no longer eligable to swap to a different phone (make and model) because of shortages in the Warranty Department...That Sounds like a Load of crap to me!
No offense to you Reps...I'm sure ya'll are great people...But how hard is it to get the people @ AT&T to realize that If they keep sending out broken Refurbished phones my way, and I keep sending them back...WHY NOT swap to a different model?
I dont complain too much about the service...Could be BETTER in the hills of Colorado, but I get by...And I get a pretty nice Law Enforcement discount which is cool...But Im really getting tired of having phone problems...and only getting refurbished ones back.

After 3 times u are eligible to change to a different device. If the csr doesn't help ask to escalate to a supervisor or manager. That should resolve ur problem

Escalating to a supervisor devalues your account. Not officially.
It's just that every time someone sees ESCALATED CALL, it's "oh great, I have to deal with this ****", not "oh man, I feel bad for this person, and I want to go out of my way to help them out". - 05-07-2010, 07:33 AM

I don't raise **** with them...I deal with people like that all day working in law enforcement, and there is no reason to blame them, when its not their fault a phone has problems-

And THAT right there is why I CALL AT&T and not my wife...She'd just want to chew someone's head off...
Then again, She's got the 8900 like you, and has not had a single problem with it...Im kinda left wondering if its where they're manufactured...Who knows though.
