Completing internet site registration forms
Been using blackberry for 2 years but never ordered/purchased any software for it
wanted to do that for the first time today and had to register online.
I have major difficulty in completing the registration form on the website (Olivetree)
I am able to fill in some of the fields and then the curser just "looses the form"
I can move the cursor (arrow) over the field - it even becomes a hand when moved over the field. I then either click on it with the trackball or use the enter button, but to no avail. I cannot get the cursor to go into the entry field where I have to type the required info.
I then start again carefully (after submitting the incomplete form) moving from field to field (sometimes it kept some of my previously entered info) and fill in a few more fields but the cursor "looses the form" again - eventually succeeded to register!!!!
Anyway now I need to pay by credit card and again the same problem!!
Is there something I am missing? how do I get the cursor in the blocks requiring my info?
I have a blackberry Curve 8310 and will soon get a 9700 bold.
Any special key combinations or is my trackball or other buttons maybe faulty? - 10-10-2010, 01:25 PM #2
I am not an AT&T rep, however I do have a suggestion. I would suggest using the Opera Mini or Bolt browser.

Thanks. I will try that. However I am hesitant to download more software on my BB it seems that they are issued with so much nonsense software that i never use (all kinds of different messengers, etc - can one delete these unnecessary icons/software?). Sometimes when I download an update of some of the software I do use, it does not want to update due to lack of space. It seem to be overloaded already. Apparently the 8310 curve gas only 64mb onboard ram and seemingly most software does not download on external memory?

Most of those icons are launchers for carrier pushed apps that do not take up much memory. They are pushed via service books, so they cannot be deleted. I created a new folder called "junk" and put all those icons in the junk folder. Then I hid the junk folder. I have things like AT&T Navigator, Myspace, Tetris, Pacman, AT&T Mall, etc. hidden in the junk folder. Out of sight, out of mind!
