I just purchased my BB curve from AT&T. I started with the T-mobile curve but my service was horrendous in the area I live. Also I couldn't receive texts from my fiancee who has Nextel. So after switching to AT&T I have much better service, love the phone, but I still cannot receive texts from him. I will call AT&T tomorrow, but after no luck with T-mobile (I spent hours and hours on the phone trying to resolve the texting problem), I thought I'd see if anyone else has the same problem, or any suggestions. Also, he is not receiving my texts now either. Thanks!

that is an issue on nextels part!! if they aren't receiving from both TMO and ATT common thread is Nextel and I have seen this issue with them before

I recently became an owner of a Curve 8310. I still have service with my nextel and sent a text from the curve to the nextel. The text was received on the nextel almost 12 hours later. Not only did it come late, but was received twice. I have no idea why nextel's have that issue. Nextel's also have an issue with trying to forward messages. When the message is sent, the recipient only gets the header without the message. I think that it's Nextel's IDEN network that's not totally compatible with other networks. But that's just my opinion.

I think it's nextels iDEN that's about to crash and burn lol, it's well on it's way out the door anyways, along with "nextel"
