Default Will the TMobile merger mean less dropped calls?

Will the TMobile merger mean less dropped calls for AT&T customers?

the only thing that will change is that people using the 1700/1900 mhz bands will be calling at&t customer service instead of t-mo to complain about the lack of penetration into buildings and underground.

btw, im getting tired of all these tmo/att what if threads.

Probably will for LTE, but it does nothing for the existing infrastructure

I have lived in NY, VA and now Fla, and I don't remember my last dropped call. most dropped calls are me touching my buttons and scrolling to the home screenor something while talking but flat out losing a call while just talking-hardly ever. In NY, the tmo signal was non existent and the service awful been happy for years with AT&T.

Those are 3G bands. Yes, it will mean less dropped calls for AT&T customers since GSM carriers use the same EDGE/GPRS (most if not all current/recent phones are quad band GSM, that's why you can use a T-Mobile phone with an AT&T SIM and make calls) and voice bands.

I'm getting tired of people who have no clue what they're talking about and confusing 3G bands with voice bands to spread their negativity.

you mean...3G doesn't mean voice? Does that mean if I get a 4G phone my voice won't get to their phone faster?!

3G & 4G are for both voice and data on GSM networks.
