Default Using an Andoid device AND a Blackberry on a BB data plan?

i dropped my SIM card into my new Atrix and was able to use data without a problem. i was then able to go back to my BB with all data working properly again. can i keep swapping back and forth between these phones without any problems? im on a $30 unlimited BIS data plan, grandfathered. my friend said he spoke to someone at at&t and they said that the data would work without an issue. but i dont want at&t seeing im using a droid and switch my data plan without asking or something. anyone ever done this before?

BlackBerry data features = data + RIM services
iPhone data features = date + Apple services
General smartphone data features = data

Non-RIM, non-Apple phones will work with iPhone and BlackBerry data features without issue.

As long as you leave the BB plan in place you will be able to switch without issue. If you have them switch you over to an Android plan none of you RIM services will continue to work when you switch back to the BB.

ok so i can go back and forth for days at a time and their system wont switch me over? i will gladly keep the BB data plan and swap back and forth as i want. i would like to be able to use both phones, and keep my BB stuff.

also, i noticed my Atrix's data was cutting out here and there. thats not due to using an older 3G sim card right?

I honestly don't think it matters how long you use the Android device as long as you are paying for a data plan one way or another. Not sure about the SIM card, I am using a 4G SIM in my 9700 that I had in the Inspire... I just swapped devices and called CS and they added BIS to my data plan.

You might want to get a new SIM card. The 4G card should fix that data issue.

The one thing that might not work right is the Visual Voice Mail.

Did they make a big fuss about it?

Of course not. You can change data plans and phones every hour of the day. Just be REALLY careful if you have unlimited smartphone data.
