What does it cost for a new customer buying the Torch?

AT&T no longer offers unlimited data to new subscribers, instead they use a tiered plan for the data. For the customers that had that unlimited plan, they were allowed to keep it, but the new customers must select either 200mb of data for $15.00 monthly, or 2 GB for $25.00 monthly. As far as unlimited voice and messaging, I think your best bet would be to stop by a local AT&T store and check the plans available.

IMO get the low minute plan ($39 a month i think) and get the unlimited messaging + unlimited calls to all mobile bundle.

That's basically pseudo unlimited talk without a plan increase.

$39 for the voice plan, $20 for unlimited messaging + free calls to mobile. Obviously that doesn't include the data plan.
