there's a work around here.. if you're using Wi-Fi then you're not accessing the radio and you can then use the phone function | Complete and utter nonesense! Verizon's CDMA network gives priority to voice over data, so if you're browsing and someone calls you, the call will get patched in and you will lose browsing abilities for the duration of the call. After you hang up, you will go back to browsing again. GSM allows for simultaneous voice and data usage. However, it doesn't handle it very well. Therefore, you get a lot of dropped calls. So, while AT&T does have the fastest 3G network in America, I will sacrifice a few milliseconds waiting for a mobile site to load than give up clear and continuous reception.
With the introduction and evolution of LTE, Verizon will soon offer the same convenience of simultaneous voice and data capabilities to it's customers.
