Thumbs down AT&T and Data on my Blackberry, in the UK

I'm confused. I called AT&T today, to have my device enabled so I could get emails etc while I'm in London next week...

But, they don't offer it! What? And then you say you're the larger mobile network? Hello!!!

I have T-Mobile and AT&T. But, I want to use my AT&T line while in London (long story). But, according to AT&T, I can use my Blackberry for voice calls, but not data, i.e. emails, and Blackberry Pin Messenger..

Weird, no?

No problem, thanks! I just called AT&T, again, and they fixed it!

I now pay $5.99 a month for international, and thus $0.99 for calls while in London. As for data, it's something like $0.02 per KB for data. But, when I called on Friday, they guy was trying to tell me I couldn't use data while in London! I said are you sure about that? He said yes...

Thank God I called back today.
