Swapping phones, one sim BB <> Samsung

Okay, I've got a BB with data plan, but I've also gotten a small Samsung with sliding querty that's perfect for going places with wee little phone in pocket. I assume I'll have phone/text without doing anything, but will I still have data plan? Unlike BB, there's no registered device/PIN for Samsung. Would AT&T even notice? I have old data plan -- unlimited data for $30/mo. I don't want to have to go to Blackberry AT&T page every time I swap SIM.

BlackBerry data service = GENERAL INTERNET + BLACKBERRY
So any phone that isn't an iPhone will work fine with your SIM, no need to change anything or tell AT&T.
