My iPhone on ATT is working fine in LIC and in the Financial District although I can say that service doesn't compare well to Verizon or Sprint which I also carry.

I've been having issues most of the morning with BIS cutting in and out. My Touch keeps dropping in and out of 3G to EDGE to GSM and back. It even dropped to edge for a while. But even with EDGE (which should mean that BIS is there), I lose internet/email for a while. Then it suddenly works again. Checking the status in the mobile network screen will even show BIS not connected, but a few minutes later, it is.

Ever since I got my Torch, I seem to be in weak signal area in my office building where connection is constantly switching from full bar 3G to single bar to switching to EDGE and back again all day long. It also kind of does this all throughout the downtown area. Leave the area and I suddenly have full to at least 3 bar 3G converage constantly. We don't have tall buildings where our office is in our area of downtown to blame it on so I don't understand what is going on with that. But today is the first time the BIS keeps blinking in and out.
