Default IF the merger does go through----

i'm pretty sure i might jump ship to t-mobile just so i can lock in a MUCH better rate plan lol

i had them before and did NOT want to come to at&t (had a billing issue)

i'm looking now--- $80/month for unlimited everything, 5GB of high-speed data? i def wouldnt mind having that locked in with at&t's muscle behind it

anyone else?

If you have a current T-mobile device then how will it utilize the AT&T network? They have different HW radios.

Simple. Port out to T-Mobile and keep your unlocked AT&T phone, then get migrated back in and keep your T-Mobile plans until you upgrade or something.

Though I've never seen a port-out get migrated back in...

well by the time the merger is finalized next year my ETF won't be so high---

but i won't get migrated back in really--- once im on tmobile i will still have my 9810, and i will opt for an att sim card on my account so i can utilize the 3.5G.... hopefully there will be away that i can do that. it's like me coming to at&t with an at&t phone but on a tmobile plan which if they then own, should let me keep? no?

do you really think you can get a better rate plan on tmo when at&t would have full control of it?at&t will coordinate rate plans.

I believe both companies have stated that existing T-Mo customers can remain on the plans they currently have if they wish. Even after the contract time is up. Similar to the way AT&T lets you keep an unlimited data plan if you already had one before they stopped offering it on new contracts.

Of course, who knows for how many years they will maintain the old plans.
