How do get data on blackberry storm 9530 with At&t data plan

Does anyone know how to get data on a Verizon unlock blackberry storm 9530 my daughter was given the phone as a present and was so excited but her data does not work. Spent hours on the phone with AT&T and they say that the soft ware or something. What can I do ? 13 year old teenager would like to have her data.

good luck. i was never able to get the Storm 2 to work properly on at&t. it kept dropping the service books. i was never able to get the data to stay for more than a minute after bootup.
