Question Help

I signed up for ATT about 7 months ago. They led on at the store like there was 3G coverage and all the good stuff. I have straight up EDGE, everywhere I go. I should have gave it back the first 30 days but I wanted to see if I waited that maybe 3G would come. Well it hasn't, is there anyway to get out of my contract without the fee? I can't take this coverage anymore.

Do you have anything in writing that indicates that you were going to be receiving some service that you are not currently receiving? If so, then you might have a case with them. If not, then you are likely out of luck.

3G is a bonus, EDGE is what is considered "service". Ask customer care to tell you if any of the towers near your house are scheduled to have UMTS service activated any time soon. Even in the literal middle of nowhere farm town I used to live in, 3G service was added earlier this year.
