Default Dumb BB n00b question

So I just got the Curve 3G with AT&T, and I've discovered that like listening to podcasts.

But I'm concerned about my data plan usage. I have the 200 MB plan, and I really can't afford to go over the limit. I've already configured the podcast app to only download eps when on WiFi. Does listening to podcasts count against my data plan when I'm not using WiFi? How can I tell?

Once the podcasts are downloaded, they are stored on your microSD card. If you listen to them, they will not incur any data use. You would only use data if you download the podcasts using the mobile network, not Wi-Fi.

Once the podcasts are downloaded, it is even possible to listen to them with the mobile network off. The only reason you see the data arrow in my screenshot is because I turned the mobile network back on to send the screenshot to Photobucket.

Thank you for the quick reply! I was really concerned about the time I spent listening to podcasts in my long commute to and from work, and feared I'd have a not-so-nice-sized bill coming in the mail later this month.
