Default Connecting a T-Mobile phone to AT&T

If I buy an unlocked T-Mobile 8320 on ebay, what exactly do I need to do to get it working with my AT&T phone line? I know I have to call AT&T and tell them to put on a BB data plan to the phone line, but do I have to do anything special to the device.. like load a specific OS or something?

thanks

Nope, just get the data plan, go to the BIS site for ATT, and add the PIN/IMEI to it, and thats all.

Thanks for that info. Heres another question on the same note.. Are there apps on an AT&T BB that are specific to AT&T? So.. if I get the BB from T-Mobile, will there be some features that I can't access it since it didn't come from AT&T? If so, what should I do to make sure I have all the features I am supposed to have?

I use the same setup. You get wifi, but lose GPS. You can get a GPS puck from the crackberry store.

I bought a used pearl it is on the cingular/att network. I went to that site to register it http//bis.na.blackberry.com/html/

Do I have to have a plan right now to be able to register it? Because I am getting the message telling me that I need to re register it...

Call AT&T and ask the ANS (blackberry support)
