Blackberry Torch and MiFi on 1 SIM?

So I recently bought a Torch from Craig's List and the seller gave me his AT&T branded MiFi hotspot. So I am wondering, can I use my SIM card from the Blackberry in the MiFi if I have the DataPro with Tethering? I figured I would ask before I upgrade my plan unnecessarily.

The MiFi uses the DataConnect plan, so I'm not sure it would work, I know when we sent some users out with USBConnect dongles and Bold 9700's, one users SIM failed, and attempting to use their BlackBerry SIM in that dongle didn't work.

This was back in the days of unlimited data, so things could have (but likely haven't) changed, and our case could have had a different outcome than what most experience in this case, as both SIM's was connected to a business account.
