Default From BB to WP, MUST have new tiered data plan?

I was under the assumption the BB plans fell under the grandfathered unlimited data plan deal, however the CS Rep I just spoke to said the BB Personal data plan is not the grandfathered unlimited data plan, and if I move to WP I will require a new tiered data plan.

I was under the assumption the grandfathered plan was any smartphone to any smartphone.

Call again (or visit a local corporately-owned store if you live nearby one.) I would not accept that for an answer. I have switched to other devices before, and a Windows Phone is no different. With that said, I have had NO issue what-so-ever keeping my Unlimited Data Plan when doing-so.

Anyone who says you can't keep unlimited data during a smartphone-to-smartphone upgrade or simple equipment swap should be reported to their immediate superior for providing gross misinformation.

The ONLY transfer that doesn't work is the 2G iPhone to an LTE phone.

I want to say, when I was doing my online upgrade the 2nd time, it DID allow me to select an unlimited plan, which I had. However, it also let me do the unlimited + 200 SMS, so I was able to drop my $20 unlimited text add on too! =P. Very surprised this worked out to a benefit. =D

(The first time I tried this, a test order that I didn't complete, would not allow any unlimited plans)

I switched from the unlimited BlackBerry to unlimited iPhone, back to unlimited BlackBerry with no problem.
