Default BB Newbie: Any problems using a BB on an Android plan?

I'm new to Blackberry and was wondering if I could occasionally use a BB device on my Android unlimited data/200 messages per month plan without penalty. I do app testing for our company and have a number of mobile devices and I've been able to switch between Windows & Android, but given they don't have BB services I wondered how easily/seamlessly this could be done.

Thanks!

The BlackBerry 9810's data feature should be compatible with all HSPA+ Android phones. I don't have a dummy IMEI for that, but if you know somebody with a 9810, ask them to give you their IMEI, but change the last five or six digits to zeroes. Your data feature will then need to be changed to the unlimited plan for the 9810, and then you can switch with impunity.

Same goes if you have an iPhone 4s, and want to switch back and forth with a non-BB phone, but in that case, you'll need a SIM adapter.

First of all, excuse my ignorance...
So, with my (used) Bold 9000 I cannot use its IMEI? I do have the smartphone unlimited data plan (the old $30 version of yore), so, hypothetically speaking, if I insert my SIM card into the Bold and then set up the Bold, will I a) be able to use all the features of the Bold, and b) will my Android still be usable on the same plan?

AT&T can't provision you with the high-speed version of the unlimited data plan without a compatible IMEI on your account. You don't actually have to USE that phone.

Here are all of my recent dummy IMEIs. I have yet to cobble one out of a 9810.

BlackBerry Bold 9700
357360030000000

iPhone 4
012543000000000

iPhone (2G)
011654000000000

HTC Inspire
357814040000000

None of these will work for your needs, unless the Android phone you plan on using doesn't mind a regular BlackBerry data feature instead of the higher speed version.
