Att "lost" my phone twice
I had a Blackberry torch a month ago, which I wasn't contempt with. The wobble on the slider was horrible, so I sent out for an exchange. On this first phone that I returned, I made the mistake of not writting down the tracking number. After 2 weeks, I called to report that I haven't gotten a word from them yet, so they went ahead and assumed that it was lost and they would credit me the amount of the phone. So they refunded me the money, to order myself a new phone.
After receiving my replacement/exchange phone, I realized that the volume on the speakers were too soft, so I sent this one out for exchange on Dec 9 using the tracking number provided on the return shipping label that came equipped with my phone. I'm supposed to receive an email stating that the phone has been received in their warehouse and at that point they could go ahead and process an exchange phone. It's now December 27 and I still have not been informed that it has been received by them.
My problem is that, this could possible be the second phone that AT&T has "lost" They keep telling me to contact USPS but the tracking number on the return shipping label isn't even compatible with the tracking number that USPS uses. It seems to be a tracking number for a company called "smart label" the company AT&T uses as their warehouse. I don't know what to do anymore. They even told me that the first phone I sent out hasn't been scanned as "received" so this phone could also be lost. I've been without a phone for almost 2 months and I'm being billed everyday without even having a phone. This is really frustrating please someone give me advise!
