ATT 9700 Driving Me Nuts !!

I purchased a 9700 from ATT after i got sick of my Torch. They sent it in promptly but within a day i noticed the side bezel creaking like crazy , it was very annoying. I called them up, and they sent me another.

The replacement (got in yesterday) has a trackpad that's wobbly and the top buttons seems to be creaking as well a bit. Now my goal isn't to be an annoying customer here but this isn't very satisfying. I cant walk into a ATT store since none of them have them in stock anymore.

What do you folks suggest ? I was thinking to wait a few weeks, maybe ATT will get the 9780 and just return it or replace it with another, since ill still have time ? I do have 30days right ?

Had similar issues... bottom line is that many of the 9700's have wobbly trackpads. Not sure about the "creaking noises" but the search for the perfect device will leave you frustrated and annoyed...

If you think you had a "faulty" one then maybe call and get it replaced, but chances are the next will have the same flaws or another that will annoy you.

And for the 9780... no word on when it will be launched on AT&T. I had to return my 9700 from Best Buy about a month ago and they had to send me to a different store because they "were out of stock and the phone has been removed from the system." Not sure if that means it's rolling out soon but take it for what you will.
