| | 9700 & 9000 officially gone...
Well, Friday I logged on my account and used one of the lines on my plan to order a 9700 to replace my iPhone 4 before they stopped selling them all together. I recieved the "order confirmation" email. So this morning I logged in to "track my order" to no avail.. The little red letters kept coming up saying something to the order of "we have no record of your order"...........
So I called in and after being transferred around and around and around and so on (you get the idea) I finally got someone in e-com to tell me "your order is under "review"... So just a few minutes ago I logged on to browse the ATT Blackberry lineup to find that both the 9000 and the 9700 have been removed... So, I am thinking, Does this mean I am not going to get my 9700 or what is going on. I mean, I was going to try out the 9800 eventually but I REALLY wanted to get a 9700 to keep on hand before they disco'd it.
Oh, Well. I guess we will see.
I have to say, I have never been really bummed to see a BB be discontinued because they have always had something on the wall at the store that I wanted more, but I have to say they have majorly dropped the ball by not getting the 9780 (speaking of ATT).

So you don't have the option of picking up a 9780? I can't imagine they've discontinued the 9700 before launching the 9780...

I had both 9000 and 9700 they were great devices. Nothing can compare to the 9000 stereo speakers, if anything that I miss that's blackberry it's my 9000.

I've got two buddies who just picked up the 9800. They are quite happy.

Yeah, I have heard the same from a few friends of mine. If Att truly won't come through with my order and dig me up a 9700 and sell it to me then I am going to head straight down to the store and pick up a shiny new 9800.

I thought ATT had launched the 9780, am I mistaken? If you don't like the 9800 the 9780 is a good option.

what's even more hilarious is that on the main page you don't see the 8310 but when i log into my premiere acct to see if I could still get them there - which I can't - but I can still buy a 8310 if I REALLY wanted another one lol
They are still pushing the 8900 though :/

Do you not have an ATT store to go to and see if they have some in stock?

There are quite a few people who wish they would at least acknowledge it's existence and say we are getting it by ______ or we will not be carrying it.

I wish they would just give all of us a yes or no! Good news is though, I just got the email that they have shipped my 9700!
Glad I was able to get myself one before they completely removed them from the site.

They are still pushing the 8900 though :/ | I can't believe this and the fact that they also have the 8520, too! Yet I couldn't get a replacement when my screen broke on my 8900. It's crap. Though that was Asurions problem, not AT&T.
