Default 2 GB or 200 mb plan on the torch?

Just curious have any of you really came close to 2 gb on a bb? I had my first full month and only used 109mb. I'm considering bumping down to the 200 mb plan. Anyone else ?

I almost always exceed 2 GB. I stream audio (Pandora and TuneInRadio) a couple hours a day, and I subscribe to 5 podcasts, which I do not download using WI-Fi.

My plan is the 200 and one time I went over it, but now I make sure I use wifi whenever possible. I always am checking my data usage and I'm doing good at keeping it low.

My opinion is that if you don't use much data then for sure you should save the bucks on your bill.

We're all going to be pushed into new tiered data plans anyway, so why not save money while you can?

I agree but I'm on the tiered plan already. I signed up last month and added the 2gb on all 5 of our lines. The highest was me @ 109 mb. and the other 4 lines were not even close to me. BUT I use wi fi alot and it doesnt help that sirius app is not available for the torch. As for now I switched all 5 of our lines to the 200 mb plan and will see how that goes.

I would switch them all to the 200mb plans if no one is using more than that. It'll save you $50/month, and you can always change the data plan back to 2GB mid-month if it looks like someone is about to go over. Not sure if you know this yet, but you can check your usage by dialing *DATA# anytime.

We have 3 family phones on the low tier plan. No one streams music or video. two of use e-office mobile - Mobile Data Alerter to monitor our usage. The app has several warning settings built in.

As long as I've been able to check my data on any of my blackberries I've never passed 100mb. That's with plenty of web use, forum browsing, google searches, maps and emails. I don't stream music and movies.

I never stream anything off wifi. I surf, facebook and email all day everyday and the most I've used in the last 6 months is like 95mb. But everyone is different.

I have the 2GB plan and only once have I exceeded the 200MB. The extra $10 isn't a big deal to me, so I keep the 2GB as a precautionary move.

I have the 200MB plan to save money. If I had unlimited funds I would probably rack up 6+MB(or more cause I would teather and play WoW). To stay under 200MB I just don't use data w/o wifi unless nessisary, like gps. And occasionaly I sneak on FB, CrackBerry, and Google.
