| | VCast Song ID & Shazam Downloads!
Okay, so if you haven't noticed this yet the Storm had originally Shazam available for it until it was removed for the Blackberry App World due to it not being officially supported for the Storm. Instead of looking for this .jad file I have this right here for you all. Also, if you would like to stick to the (free) V Cast Song ID instead, I have that here for you as well. So instead of having to search everywhere for them, here they are. Also, what is everyone's opinion? Which application is better?

| | V-cast Song Id
Other than your zip file which undoubtedly has the ALX file, where did you obtain the original file from in order to be able to post it, I have not been able to find it on the storm through application center or on app world.

How is it leaked, when it's readily available on the Verizons web server?..lmao!!
Download the OTA: http://mobile.vzw.com/download/Vcast...orm/songid.jad
(Misleading title edited and OTA added for VCast SongID)

I actually was able to get this from way back in the day (a few months ago) when they actually had it in App World. They used to have it there, for a short time.

Download the OTA: mobile(dot)vzw(dot)com/download/VcastSongId/Storm/songid(dot)jad | Yeah, it's more so just to give people the option considering Shazam is Shazam. It used to not be directly accessible through Verizon's mobile site way back in the day... |

So I thought I would try the vcast song Id before Shazam, Vcast don’t work for me. It always says listening! After several battery pulls, I'm getting the same results. I guess it is now time to try Shazam!!
-------------------------------------------
In the middle of typing this up, I remembered to change the application security settings, and now this works very well. It only takes about 12 seconds total to get you your song ID!!!

Awesome, thanks! This song ID came in handy several times on my old phone. I don't use it much these days, but never know when the need will arise!

Vcast song ID works perfect (for me at least). My only issue is that it's a little slow opening - but once it's open it works!
