Have you tried a battery pull? if that don't work then it might be time for a warranty replacement.

A most excellent program, the free version is fine, but I DO have the pro version myself. It basically lets you reboot the Storm WITHOUT actually pulling the battery. I highly recommend it. Main advantage is it saves wear on the battery cover, plus lets you reboot without taking off your skin or case, if you have a case or skin that covers the battery cover.

Also note the main differences between the free and paid versions. (I use the free version)

Paid version does everything the free one does, but gives you more control over scheduling, and also allows you to monitor memory and set a reset threshold.

With version 151 of the OS battery pulls are less necesary. But quickpull is still good to have.

For those who don't read the front page, there's a link for the .zip file for the new leaked BBM.

Going to be changing my avatar when I get home, so those with it requiring BB help can use the barcode to add me. Probably the best feature of the new BBM so far!

Hey guys, sounds like alot of smart people in here so I figured I'd ask. Is there any way to change applications quickly? Like the alt+escape button for the curves?

I was also wondering about OS's I've got .122 from Telus. I was wondering what the best OS is. I tried downloading .151 but I can't read Spanish and couldn't tell what the error message said What is the best OS?

Oh, and also, what would be the best amount of file free memory to have? (bytes)

I just picked this phone up yesterday, I'm still learning all the tricks Thanks for any help.

To change application quickly, press and hold the BB key, and the application switcher menu will display.

As far as best OS, I would recommend .151, really seems to operate well on my device. If you want to give it a go, and the Spanish is what's stopping you, try this link:

MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service

As far as file free memory, I can't really answer what the best amount to have is. More is always better, of course, but I've found that my device runs quite well, even when it gets low. The memory management as gotten much better in the later OS builds. If you really want to get as much free space as possible, you can find a couple of tutorials on here on how to get more. First steps would be to remove stock wallpapers, ringtones, etc. You could then get more involved with removing programs such as Voice Dialing with CrackMem, if so inclined.

Enjoy the new device, and come back with any questions you have.

I used to have the same issue with the light not keeping up when I type. Haven't had the issue since upgrading to .151. You may also want to take a look at changing your keyboard settings under Options>Screen/Keyboard.

Opera mini seems to be the favorite 3rd party browser, I haven't seen many that stack up well against it. Bolt has a pretty good one, but I'm not keen on the way the interface runs on the Storm.
